Volunteers Needed!

  Volunteers Needed!

Can you involve volunteers in your work? Get in touch!

Volunteers are a great way to bring new skills into your club. As part of the Herts Sports Partnership ‘Active Together’ project, we are looking to recruit and involve more volunteers in the work of the sports sector. Can you involve volunteers in the work that you do? This may include sessions, projects, events, festivals, competitions, clubs or programmes that you run.

If  you have opportunities for volunteers in your club, we'd like to help by promoting them through the network of Volunteer Centre across the county.

You might be able to utilise volunteers in a variety of roles, including such things as:

• Assistant Activity/Dance Leaders
• Sports Leaders
• Officiating
• Marshalling
• Photography
• Web and Graphic design
• Administrative duties
• Be-friender
• Activity buddy
and more….

For volunteers that engage through this project we can offer:

• Reimbursement for out of pocket expenses
• Access to a comprehensive training and workshop programme
• Information, advice and guidance on local opportunities
• links to local partners such as yourselves

Alternatively, if you already involve volunteers in the work that you do we would love to add value to this by offering up to £100 worth of training (subject to terms and conditions).

For all interested parties, please contact: Olivia Bickle. Volunteer Coordinator, Herts Sports Partnership, Tel: 01707 284229 or email: o.h.bickle@herts.ac.uk
